Det technical death metal bandet Beneath The Massacre från Montreal har bestämt titel för sin kommande EP. Titeln blir “Marée Noire” och blir bandets fjärde EP. Den planeras att släppas 14 september via Prosthetic Records.
Gitarristen Chris Bradley kommenterar det hela med: “‘Marée Noire’ was written using a different approach than the preceding release. We wouldn’t start the writing process from the same point. Some songs were more structured by melodies while others all started from drums pattern. I think it makes the songs stand out a little more.”
Sångaren Elliot Desgagnes lägger till: “The tones are a little rawer and it helped a lot that Donaldson and Bradley already worked together in the past.“

“I am of the belief that one can be most convincing when they write/create from personal experience. ‘Beyond Forlorn’ is probably one of my favorite tracks from ‘Starve for the Devil’ because it is so deeply personal for me. I really feel that I tried to put all of my being into this one track.”
